Common cause

Decentralized systems and blockchain technology is an opportunity to create a new economy and change the social structure. But the electronic system, no matter how effective it is, in itself cannot be a source of either more benefits or their fair distribution. It is just a tool that you can use to achieve the goals of both your own well-being and general change for the better.

Adam Smith, speaking of the “Invisible hand of the market,” meant the natural human need to exchange the products of one’s labor, leading to cooperation and the emergence of certain moral feelings towards each other and other things that clearly benefit society, that is, all of us.

This kind of exchange will be established in the system, but in order to establish it, it is not enough just to start the exchange. We need people who can organize it, set an example somewhere with their own behavior and control the behavior of others. Simply put, the system at the initial stage should have an intelligent guide, which will be the basis for organizing the system.

An even more primary form of human relations, i.e. before trade, we can call a common cause – team interaction with a common goal. Cooperation leads to trust between people, to mutual understanding regarding objective common goals. With such cooperation, the issue of profit distribution is most fairly resolved, no one wants to leave dissatisfied the one who makes a really important contribution to the common cause, therefore everyone is rewarded according to their merits.

But this form of relationship, one might say, ideal justice, is possible only when there is a common goal. A goal or better, a sequence of goals in which results depend on a common effort. This kind of cooperation happens, for example, in military campaigns, namely, when there is a goal to capture something. The behavior of each other and the contribution of the participants in the hostilities are obvious to them in the course of the hostilities themselves. For each, its usefulness is visible, which should be appreciated in order to maintain mutual relations.

This is an example of justice in war. Justice is assumed when some new common cause is implemented, for example, as an OM system. No one shares powers and results in advance, but everyone does as best he can.

The magnitude and nature of the contribution of each to the common cause, at the first stage, will allow the formation of the initial control structure. The position of all new members entering the organization is consistent with those who have already made a tangible contribution and therefore are part of it.

The first stage of implementation establishes the initial hierarchy. This can be a motivation for the action of the first participants, for example, at the stages of developing various kinds of theoretical positions or drawing attention to them.

The next stage involves teamwork in a built hierarchy. At this stage, when there is already an administrative structure, it is possible to move on to the practical part of the implementation of the system, recruiting for this a sufficient number of participants with clear job descriptions.

At this stage, fixed assets will be attracted to the system. The distribution of funds for the most part will be targeted for regular participants, and the promotion will depend on the position held.

With the development of the system, a lot of things will appear that will need to be done independently of the center, any such business one way or another requires a responsible person who will be in charge of completing it or will control the process himself over time.

To encourage completed cases, the system will use, among other things, the internal internal currency, which can then be withdrawn into real money.

Such encouragement will be introduced at the stage when there will be a transition from theoretical work to practical implementation – system programming, its implementation, moderation, control, etc.

The model of cooperation that is being developed in the process of creating the system should become the basis for the implementation of various other cases that will arise within the system.

What to do?

Indeed, if you want to help develop the system, you will probably have a question: “What to do?”. To begin with, think about whether you will probably have your own ideas for the development of the project, related to your current activity, or abilities for it.

For example, if you want to work on the theoretical part, read the articles on this site until you understand what the essence and meaning of the Open Money  project as a whole is, for a better immersion in the context, go to the “Library” section, read the work plan and etc. After that, try to write your own article on a particular topic, for example, how the OM system can help in your current field of activity. Tell your friends about the system, it will probably attract someone’s attention, ask if the system could be useful to them; material can also be made on this basis.

One way or another, at the time of writing this article, it is theoretical work that plays the greatest role, practical tasks will arise along the way.
