The history of mankind is centuries of struggle both with nature and with oneself. And as a result of this struggle, this is the creation of collective forms of protection in the form of states, as a source of private state, and then international law.

The organization of the state inevitably arose from the social nature of man, that is, the ability to organize. The state abolished the struggle with each other within itself, it also streamlined interaction with external forces in such a way that organized violence, of the largest possible state, always defeated the small unorganized one.

State organization

The organization of the state was first based on kinship principles, then nations began to form, identifying themselves as a single whole, relatives on a religious and linguistic basis. Over time, not only methods of struggle developed, but also methods of peaceful cooperation, otherwise forms of economic interaction. From a primitive barter exchange of self-produced goods to a modern developed economy with a deep division of labor.

Meanwhile, the struggle of man against man has not gone away, but it has begun to acquire more humane economic forms of influence.

Direct military confrontation in modern times is being avoided. The first reason is that the benefits of war are not the same as before, in the form of slaves and the results of robbery, since society itself no longer allows such behavior. The next reason is military alliances, like NATO and international agreements in the UN, which allow you to create such a consolidation of forces that it makes no sense to challenge. And, finally, the last reason is nuclear weapons, capable of destroying all of humanity.

The goal of modern peace politics is to push the war as an event as far into infinity as possible, so that we only prepare for a potential war, but do not fight. And the essence of this preparation is not to bring closer, but to postpone any war as much as possible. However, the causes of wars can be so irrational that it is almost impossible to talk about something confidently in this regard.

Economic and corporate struggle

Development in the economy has a more hidden nature, since the interaction takes place not with people, but with objects. The history of technology development is not as popular as a tool for understanding the overall history. Wars and conquests also take place in the economy, and many of the warriors that we know are just the result of the action of internal economic springs.

But there are all the prerequisites for the fact that confrontations in the economy are stretched in the same way in time as wars, but for natural reasons. Due to the lack of any new resources, markets for new technologies that could significantly change the market situation,

But this struggle takes place within an already established society and, in fact, does not have any external goal. It does not play any significant role in the economy, but only allows a slightly different allocation of resources.

Further history of mankind

The absence of new resources and markets, as new opportunities for conquest, either slows down time or rolls it back. The goal that can be achieved earlier than others is lost, and at the same time, time is also abolished as a factor for making certain decisions leading to faster profits and accelerated development.Instead linear time, when something is created and then profit is made from it, the economy begins to be dominated by cyclical time, in which, thanks to creative activity, waves of interest or fashion for certain things occur.

The global resource or base economy is becoming increasingly static, focusing on the development of process quality and efficiency. But even this development of efficiency and quality rests on a certain technical ceiling. It does not globally solve the problem of overproduction and the need for production as such, since this is in the social, not the economic sphere. Society can afford a new model of phone and car, but how sustainable is such a replacement from an environmental point of view?

When most of the basic material goods are satisfied, the process of action, the achievement of which by a certain date, the production of a product becomes less important than the creative activity, the result of which is phenomena such as the Internet, which by and large is entertainment, but has little to do with real economic activity. activities. The Internet, as a means of expressing creative activity, organizes the economic process, but does not change its essence. This process itself allows you to effectively extract profit, redistributes it in favor of a more advanced part of the people, but does not change the results of our activities. From more sophisticated advertising, selling on the Internet or new financial instruments, even if in the form of bitcoin, goods do not become better, and their production does not become more environmentally friendly.

Modern economy

The slowdown and transition of the economy to the sphere of services and creative activity is dictated by natural causes – limited resources and the relative satisfaction of most material needs.

But the slowdown in the economy is not compatible with the former form of its organization, which was based on its constant technological development and the growth of total production, the growth of GDP. Such an increase in the number of goods could also ensure a constant increase in the money supply. But without this growth, which is slowing down for objective reasons, the growth of the money supply leads to inflation and further accelerates the redistribution of the market in favor of existing large corporations with access to credit money.

The advantage and, at the same time, the disadvantage of the modern economy is that it is well able to achieve goals, develop, but cannot exist without this development and reasonably, long-term use of limited resources. The modern economy is extremely bad at creating a high quality of life in harmony with nature.

You can say that there are places, like Europe, where everything is fine, that’s true. But this is far from enough. It is not enough just to isolate oneself from the whole planet, which is gradually turning into a garbage dump.
