A few words about the community

Under the commune, we mean any organization independent of the state with a community of property and results of labor.
Nevertheless, the total results of labor must somehow be distributed, someone must sell them if the commune interacts with the outside world in any way. Thus, the difference between work in a commune and work on a free market is that the results of labor are evaluated not by the market, but by the head of the commune. And if we limit ourselves to this, then we get any commercial enterprise where there is an employer who disposes of the results of the work of his employees, giving them wages for their work for independent use. In the commune there is no such salary, or the possibility of using it is strictly limited due to the same community of property. So, unlike ordinary work in the free market, where the incentive is money and the independent material wealth associated with it, the main incentive to work in a commune is the right to remain in this commune and, possibly, occupy some status position in it.
Thus, the life of the commune should be valuable in itself, that is, be desirable and, one might say, bring happiness. Religions, on the basis of which there are many communes around the world, can be attributed to this kind of intrinsic value. If we talk about the above, then any religion or ideology that finds happiness outside the material world, that is, its own pleasure, one way or another leads to life in a commune. Communism, at least as it was implemented in the USSR, declaring materialism as a religion, partly belongs to this kind of ideologies.
Organizations supported by the state, such as the army, scientific institutions, the bureaucratic apparatus, have the likeness of a commune in that, first of all, the position in the system is important in them, the status that causes better income and independence from the leadership, that is, the structure itself. In the free market, status is a consequence of income. Independence is present initially, but as the amount of property increases, actions become more coordinated with state power.
But, as in the case of a commercial enterprise that produces something, or a public service, there is some practical utilitarian meaning in both cases. And this allows them to exist everywhere, in contrast to various kinds of communes, the benefits of which lie, so to speak, more in the spiritual sphere.
Emphasizing the above, one can come to the conclusion that people, by their nature, are not inclined to unite in communes if this association, or rather, it would be more correct to say obedience to certain rules, is not necessary, for example, during the life of the crew on the ship. In general, the same can be said about any leadership, it is such when it is beneficial to subordinates. However, this is not counting cases when they are subjected to force, i.e. against the will, and state power traditionally resorts to this kind of submission.
People living in the same village or working at the same enterprise often do not have any kind of self-government or it does not bring any tangible benefits. From here it can be revealed that, in themselves, the principles of commune or self-government, election, and the like do not have any benefit without people capable of realizing these principles.
Consequently, the organization of any state system on the new principles of self-government, that is, independent of the leadership of one person, should be made up of people who themselves represent these principles and, so to speak, believe in them. In order for such a system not to be a local commune of idealists, participation in it must imply some advantageous position in relation to existing outside of it.
Nevertheless, at the first stages of the development of the system, for the organizers themselves, a certain amount of idealism is inevitable and quite justified, since the result of any business, because it exists only when it is completed, and until the case is completed, there is no result, therefore , there is no benefit or benefit. As long as two important components are missing, we are forced to work on their achievement.
